IQAC shall evolve mechanisms and procedures for:
IQAC Initiatives & Incremental improvement
- Introducing Outcome-based Education (OBE) framework: OBE framework was initiated with many training/ workshop for the faculty. Definition of the PEOs/PSOs/POs and COs along with the CO-PO & PSO mapping completed.
- Adopting Blended Learning: adopted Blended learning pedagogy in teaching learning.
- Introducing CBCS/ECS: CBCS/ECS has been implemented across all the programmes.
- Deploying Learning Management Systems (LMS): University deployed LMS named as Integral Learning Initiative (ILI) after country wide COVID lockdown. ILI is developed in-house and supports administration, feedback, discussion forums, reporting etc. Integral Learning Initiative
- Starting Add on/ Value added courses: Add on/ Value added courses started to add value in student’s industry readiness.
- ICT enabled Campus: University campus is fully ICT enabled with campus wide Wi-Fi. Remote library access, online teaching learning, online resources had all been introduced.
- Lecture Capturing System and E-content: Establishment of recording studios and training for e-content creation & online teaching
- Green Initiatives/ Solar Plant: University has taken many green initiatives including installation of 1 MW solar PV plant, installation of STP. Directorate of solar
- E-Governance/ Automation: As part of Green initiatives, university has emphasized on e-governance and process automation.
- Social outreach /Extension Activities: University has increased thrust on extension activities and awareness campaigns by Participation and contribution to National Mission projects and has conducted numerous activities in the areas of healthcare. As part of COVID efforts, University has installed Oxygen plant.
- Participation in Ranking: University started participating in NIRF and other rankings in order to improve itself and increase visibility. Faculty of Pharmacy is ranked 41 in NIRF 2021 and is finding place in first 50 since 2017.
- New Programs in emerging areas: Introduction of new academic programmes in the emerging areas, of Law, Health Sciences, Humanities, and Sciences.
- Restructuring: Restructuring evaluation scheme to facilitate increase in frequency of continuous assessment and self-learning
- Increased Global Footprint: Increased foot print on the globe and has attracted international students from many countries.
- Establishment of industry sponsored Centers:
- Research for sustainable development: Identification of new research areas based on priority and expertise towards SGG goals. Integral Information &Research Centre (IIRC) is established to promote quality research in emerging areas and is equipped for Chemical, Biological, and Biotechnological and Computational research.
- Training the trainers: University Human Resource Development Centre (HRDC) has conducted many FDP, workshop and training programmes including workshops on NEP. HRDC is also is one of the Regional Centre of Centre for CALEM established at AMU, Aligarh, and Remote Centre of IIT Bombay for conducting hybrid MOOCs in under the scheme of NMEICT.
