Environmental consciousness is all about understanding the environment, the impacts of human behaviors on it, and the importance of its protection whereas sustainability refers to adopting good practices, ways & means that can strike a healthy balance between human subsistence and mother nature.

So, it is the necessity and responsibility of humankind to respect, protect, and preserve natural resources from being afflicted by human misconduct.
Understanding the implications of Environmental awareness and sustainability, Integral University puts good efforts to sensitize its people about the environment and adopts the due course of action to address and cope-up with issues- Green Initiatives, Environment Conservation, Energy Conservation, Water and Waste management. Well-documented policies are there which put greater emphasis on the protection and conservation of the environment & natural resources.
AUDIT & AWARDS:
Integral University conduct green audit including environment audit & energy audit by approved external agencies to ensure due compliance with its various policies on Green, Environment, Energy, Water, and Waste Management. It’s a matter of great pleasure that after being judged on 6 environmental criteria, Integral University has been recognized and given a certificate of award by UI Green Metric World University Ranking.
AWARENESS PROGRAMS:
IU is committed to sustainable development keeping the environment at the highest concern and priority. Programs & event celebrations on the environment are meant to bring awareness among the people and to sensitize them. To make people realize the fact that the physical environment is fragile & indispensable and we must protect and preserve it, University encourages the departments to conduct awareness programs, celebrate commemorative days, and do plantation drives in the university and its vicinity (Beyond the campus).
