Patient & Visitor Guide
Welcome to IIMSR Hospital
We understand that visiting a hospital can be overwhelming. This guide is designed to provide you with all the necessary information regarding admissions, visiting hours, and hospital policies to make your stay as comfortable as possible.
Admission Process
- •Please bring your doctor's admission advice note.
- •Carry a valid government-issued ID (Aadhar, Voter ID, Passport).
- •Bring previous medical records, prescriptions, and current medications.
- •For insurance/TPA, provide your health card and policy details at the TPA desk during admission.
Discharge Process
- •Discharge is initiated only after the treating consultant's approval.
- •The billing department requires 2-3 hours to process the final bill (longer for TPA/Insurance approvals).
- •You will receive a detailed discharge summary and post-discharge care instructions.
- •Follow-up appointments can be scheduled before leaving.
Visiting Hours
To ensure our patients get adequate rest and to minimize the risk of infection, we enforce strict visiting hours.
General Wards
4:00 PM – 6:00 PM
Maximum 2 visitors per patient at a time.
ICU / CCU / NICU
11:00 AM – 12:00 PM
5:00 PM – 6:00 PM
Maximum 1 visitor per patient at a time. Children below 12 not allowed.
Hospital Policies
- Tobacco Free Zone: Smoking and chewing tobacco/pan masala are strictly prohibited across the hospital campus.
- Outside Food: Outside food is not permitted for patients. The hospital dietary department provides therapeutic diets as prescribed.
- Silence Please: Keep mobile phones on silent mode and maintain a quiet environment in patient areas.
- Valuables: Please do not keep cash or jewelry with the patient. The hospital is not responsible for loss of personal belongings.
